Pet the miniature horses at the Monastery of St. Clare. The Pleasant Hill Winery is open for tastings, great wine information and a look at their unique antique corkscrew collection. We are only 5 minutes from Lake Somerville, which offers para-sailing, jet-ski rentals, fishing, boating and two sandy beaches for swimming. The George Bush Presidential Library and Texas A&M University are only a half hour away and Festival Institute at Round Top is outstanding. South of Round Top you will find The Jersey Barnyard, home of "Belle", the Blue Bell cow, a dairy offering cheese made right on the farm.
